About Carl
Carl grew up in Perry Hall, Maryland where he developed an early desire for public safety and helping others. While in high school, Carl volunteered with a local Baltimore County Fire Department leading to employment with the Baltimore City Fire Department as a paramedic. Carl transferred to the Baltimore Police Department, ultimately retiring after a 25-year career with the City. Outside of work, Carl enjoys spending time with his family boating, fishing, or enjoying the outdoors.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Carl managed the Workers’ Compensation department of a mid-sized Baltimore law firm. Carl has represented injured workers throughout the State of Maryland at the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission and in the Circuit Courts. The majority of Carl’s clients are Law Enforcement Officers where his experience provides a unique perspective to the interplay between the workers’ compensation claim and departmental concerns. On a regular basis, Carl has also represented Correctional Officers, Health Professionals, Fire Fighters, and Municipal Workers to name a few.
