About Grant
Grant Ostby was born and raised in Michigan, where he enjoys rooting for his hometown sports teams including the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and the Michigan State Spartans. After law school, Grant moved to Maryland to be closer to friends and family. During his free time, he enjoys anything outdoors such as hiking, running, mountain biking, fishing, and camping.
Professional Experience
Grant graduated with High Honors from Drake University Law School in May 2021. During law school, Grant was a senior Editorial Staff of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law, and was also a student-attorney in the Criminal Defense Legal Clinic at Drake University. Grant always had a true passion for litigation as he interned at a prosecutor’s office and public defender’s office throughout his college and law school career. He later clerked at a local general civil law firm where his passion for litigation shifted from criminal to civil. Through these experiences, Grant has a natural ability for written and oral advocacy and a true passion for representing his clients in the courtroom.
