About Julie
A former film producer and actress, enjoys living in Montgomery County with her family, where she volunteers as a mediator at the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County. You may find her playing basketball with her kids at the local park, perfecting her tomato growing in the summer or attempting a sewing project, a newfound hobby.
Professional Experience
Julie began her professional legal career as an assistant district attorney in New York City prosecuting cases against domestic violence offenders and representing the rights of victims. As a prosecutor, she frequently appeared in court for hearings and trials, prepared motions and drafted appellate briefs and memorandums of law. Julie then served as an Administrative Law Judge for New York City’s Parking and Traffic Enforcement division. During law school, she received a scholarship for public service, through her work with her school’s Family Law Clinic, where she advocated for children with special needs. Throughout her legal career she has focused on protecting the rights of the people in and around her community.
